जब शामें लंबी हुआ करती थीं।

आँगन में दादी मटर छीलती थीं। रेडियो पर पुराने गीत बजते थे। बच्चे गली में धूल उड़ाते हुए खेलते थे। पिता जी थैले में सब्जियाँ लेकर घर लौटते थे और पड़ोसी बिना दरवाज़ा खटखटाए घर में आ जाया करते थे।

आज सब कुछ तेज़ हो गया है।
