SITA: The Quiet Strength That Changed Eternity

The Eternal Symbol of Strength and Grace

It was a quiet morning…
Soft breeze in the air…
Temple bells ringing gently…

Sunlight slipping quietly through the window…
Tea in hand… memories rising with the steam…

Today is Sita Jayanti
And somewhere, verses of the Ramayana echoing…

The heart walks back into the pages of the Ramayana…
where there is no noise…
no show…
just a woman…

Who never breaks…
never bends…
but endures… and still smiles.

She is— Sita.

In my childhood days, my grandmother told me the story of Sita Maa.

She said—
“If Ram is righteousness… Sita is the soul.”

And truly… since then…
Sita is not just a character…
She is feeling.

Daughter of Earth, Symbol of Strength

Sita was found by King Janak while ploughing the field.
She was born from the womb of Earth.

This tells us—
A woman is not just a creation… she is creation itself.

My grandmother used to say—

Ram is incomplete without Sita…
and Sita needs no completion at all.”

Love that became sacrifice

When Sita chose to go to the forest with Ram…
It was not duty…
It was love in its purest form.

📖
“Siya sahit Ram ban aaye…”

(Rama came to the forest accompanied by Sita.)

A queen choosing hardship over comfort—
That is a strength.

Trial by fire… or strength of truth?

Sita’s Agni Pariksha was not just a test…
It was society’s doubt.

But she stood with dignity.

Truth does not need proof…
It shines on its own.

The world doubted her…
But she never doubted herself.

Truth does not need validation.

Courage in Ashok Vatika

Alone… imprisoned…
Yet unbroken.

📖
“Dheeraj dharam mitra aru naari,
Aapad kaal parakhiye chaari.”

(Patience, religion, friends, and women
In times of emergency, test all four.)

In difficult times, true strength appears.

Returning to Earth — A decision of dignity

In the end…
Sita chose to return to Mother Earth.

Not defeat…
But self-respect.

A small real-life reflection

A woman in my neighbourhood once said—
“When life becomes hard… I remember Sita.”

And I realised—
Sita is not history… she is inspiration.
She is present… everywhere.

Why Sita matters today

In today’s noisy world…
Sita reminds us—

  • Strength is silent
  • Love is sacrifice
  • Dignity is everything

Closing Prayer

📖
“Siya Ram may sab jag jani…”

On this Sita Jayanti…
May we receive her strength, patience, and grace.
