HARE KRISHNA HARE RAMA

“Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna,- Krishna Krishna -Hare Hare” — The sky is reverberating with this chanting. The reason is that today is the birth anniversary ( Krishna Janmotsav) and the whole of India and many parts of the world over wherever Krishna devotees are living, are filled with divine joy. So let us also enjoy talking about some Krishna, a divine flame.

The word “Krishna” means a magnetic and divine person who draws others towards Him like a magnet draws a piece of iron. It is true that He took incarnation thousands of years ago, but still, He is the source of devotion and salvation for many devotees in the Hindu religion as well as outside of it, who trust even their life in Krishna.

Today, on this occasion, we celebrate His incarnation with the help of several tableaux, but all of them are only just symbolic. The real devotion lies in following His lifestyle. He is a great Yogi and philosopher as well as, at the same time, a great voluptuous and a chronic player of politics who controlled all the facets of “Mahabharat”, one of the greatest wars of all time. He is “Yogishwar” who reigns over all vital actions and desires of His life, whereas, at the same time, indulges in all the voluptuousness. Osho has analyzed His personality in a very natural sense. He says that now is the time of living the values of life of Krishna. Today, people have excess money which leads them toward luxury, pleasures, and opulence. There are waves of freedom in the air. People are deeply indulged in a colorful life full of pleasures. In the midst of such time, the message of Krishna looks more meaningful.

Krishna views life as a celebration. He takes life as a sport, just like the other God-made things take their own lives – like the flowers feel their fragrance, the birds feel in their flying and kissing the sky, and the sky feels at its own vastness and its spread. It can be felt that, except the humans, the whole world views life as a celebration. If we take Krishna’s message of celebrating life, many disturbances in the world will come to an end. Life will become cooler and blissful.

Another important thing is that as per the great psychologist Sigmund Freud, the repression of sexual and worldly desires will only create bad effects. This important inference has been already established by Krishna with the example of His own life. He faced all aspects of his life with full dignity. There may be a classification for us in good things and bad things in our lives. But Krishna did all things in His life, good as well as bad, with equal ease as per the demand of the situation and left no stone unturned to achieve the objective of doing justice to the cause and to the person.

The conclusion is that we should live our life innately, without any remorse, and accept all the instincts that have been gifted by mother nature, and enjoy the life king size but never indulge in them. Krishna is visible from outside a voluptuous person but inside he is a hermit and yogi. That is why He is supposed to be a “Complete Man”.

So HARE KRISHNA… HARE RAMA to all of you.
